Juncal LXXXVII, Napoleón Candau and Armas Zelindo among the top eight Approved Stallions
PRE horses Juncal LXXXVII, Napoleón Candau and Armas Zelindo summarize Spanish representation by participating in Kür of the CDI1* at Ermelo 2018. They all competed in the category for Approved Stallions, listed in the stud book of breeds that are members of the WBFSH to qualify among the top 8 pairs.
For Purebred Spanish Horses, it was a more than relevant representation. Juncal LXXXVII, owned by his rider Alfonso Gormaz and bred by José Antonio Olivas Agustín, had an average of 69.583%, thus placing them as the first among approved stallions on the PRE team and fourth on the general roster. The second pair on the PRE Team was Napoleón Candau from Yeguada Candau and ridden by Anthony Pelling. They represented Australia and earned an average of 69.250%, with which they placed fifth on the medalist. Third among the PREs and eighth on the roster with a 67.791% average was Armas Zelindo, owned by José Antonio Varona de la Cuadra, bred by Plaza de Armas and ridden by Marc Amat.
With this test, the PRE Team put the final tough on a wonderful World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses where they represented the Purebred Spanish Horse over four intense days at the competition held in Ermelo.
